Nathan S. Stimson

Nathan represents individuals and businesses with respect to civil and commercial litigation and transactional matters. His primary practice areas include civil litigation, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, real estate litigation, and transactional law.

Civil Litigation
Nathan has a strong background in civil litigation and has represented individual, business, and institutional clients in disputes regarding business transactions, contract claims, and tort litigation across various settings. He has experience with complex discovery and has worked with forensic experts on technological issues. He also represents clients with respect to the mediation, arbitration, or appeal of their cases.

Commercial Litigation
As a commercial litigator, Nathan represents corporate and individual clients in various commercial disputes, including contract and business tort claims, breach of contract disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, fiduciary issues, breach of duty claims, and other claims arising from a commercial setting.

Creditors’ Rights
In the area of creditors’ rights, Nathan helps lenders and lessors recognize value from distressed loans, equipment leases, and other commercial instruments. He has experience with the foreclosure of real property collateral and litigating deficiency claims against borrowers and guarantors, and he works with clients to obtain recovery of personal property collateral.

Real Estate Litigation
Nathan represents corporate and individual clients in matters related to commercial and residential real estate transactions, including with respect to leases, real estate contracts, purchase agreements, quiet title actions, boundary and access disputes, mortgage and foreclosure-related litigation, covenant disputes, zoning issues, and lien disputes. He also advises and represents clients with respect to the redemption of real property sold at judicial foreclosure sales.

Business and Transactional Law Services
He also regularly represents clients with respect to the drafting and review of business contracts, loan-related agreements, leases, real estate documents, and various other legal documents.
