Laurence R. Sharlot

Laurence Sharlot practices in the areas of insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, insurance defense litigation (personal injury and property damage claims) and medical malpractice. He has successfully tried both jury and bench trials and has arbitrated more than 200 cases.

Laurence joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 1996.

He graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in finance in 1986 and University of Illinois Chicago Law School in 1990. He graduated with honors from University of Illinois Chicago Law School (top ten percent), was a member and author of the University of Illinois Chicago Law School Law Review and was honored as a lifetime member of University of Illinois Chicago Law School’s Order of the Coif. Laurence is a 1994 graduate of Arizona’s College of Trial Advocacy.

He began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jefferson Lankford, Court of Appeals of Arizona from 1990-91.
