Lauren M. Swol
Lauren represents both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and insurance defense cases. Lauren has represented clients before the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the New Mexico Supreme Court. Prior to joining JKW, Lauren practiced at a law firm specializing in fire and explosion litigation, where she represented a variety of product manufacturers, insurance companies, and Fortune 500 companies.
Lauren was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to attending the University of Arizona James E Rogers College of Law, Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Northern Arizona University.
While in law school, Lauren honed her legal writing capabilities, serving as a Writing Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program and as the Senior Note Editor of the Arizona Law Review. She also participated in several moot court competitions, earning awards for both oral argument and brief writing. Lauren also gained experience in environmental law, earning a J.D. Certificate in Environmental Law, Science, and Policy.
In her free time, Lauren is a voracious reader and an avid baker. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family while soaking up those quintessential Arizona sunsets.
