We’re the Millers: Miller Act Surety Bonds, From Alpha to Zulu

PHOENIX — Joseph A. Brophy, a partner with Jennings Haug Keleher McLeod’s construction law and surety law practices, will be providing an overview of Federal Miller Act and Arizona “Little Miller” Act payment and performance bond requirements.  On failed public works projects, these bonds can be the proverbial pot of gold for a party seeking relief.

The presentation is styled to be a refresher course on surety bonds for public construction–with an emphasis on claim mechanics and bond coverage–while also highlighting some important suretyship principles and defenses.
