Vikrama S. (Vika) Chandrashekar

Vika is an experienced Colorado trial attorney with deep civil and commercial litigation experience across a variety of industries and sectors. This experience includes business-to-business disputes, such as breach of contract litigation and business torts; internal business disputes, such as shareholder/member litigation, derivative litigation, and corporate governance issues; creditors’ rights, including foreclosures, collections, insolvency, receivership, bankruptcy, and workouts; property and real estate issues, such as landlord/tenant disputes, zoning challenges, and land use litigation; regulatory actions, including liquor and other business licenses; and cases involving municipal entities, including vindication of individual and business rights.

Vika regularly works with companies and individuals in various industries that are important to Colorado’s economy, including commercial and residential real estate, lending and financing institutions, cannabis, hospitality, food and beverage, and construction. No matter the industry or subject matter, Vika is known for putting his clients’ needs first, providing regular communication and case evaluation along with a combination of aggressive advocacy and a practical approach to resolving disputes. Throughout his career, he has handled bench trials, jury trials, and arbitration hearings to verdict. Vika joined JKW as a partner in May 2026.

Vika loves to enjoy all Colorado has to offer alongside his wife, daughter, and three dogs. An avid sports fan, he can often be found cheering on his beloved Texas Longhorns, Houston Rockets, and Houston Texans, as well as his adopted teams – the Colorado Buffaloes, Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos, and Colorado Avalanche.
