Christopher T. Shanley
Christopher represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, medical malpractice claims, personal injury claims, and any related appeals. Prior to joining JKW, he handled high-stakes business litigation matters at a large, national firm in Phoenix.
Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Christopher obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University where he earned the ranking of 20th Best Orator in the nation in Moot Court. Following graduation from Michigan State, he moved to Arizona to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While in law school, Christopher was selected to join the Order of Barristers, a national honor society limited to individuals who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy and brief writing.
In addition to his legal practice, Christopher also serves as an Assistant Coach for Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Mock Trial team. He has served in this role since 2021.
In 2026, Christopher was recognized as a Best Lawyers® “Ones to Watch.”
Outside the office, he can be found on the golf course, watching Michigan State basketball, or catching every touchdown on NFL Redzone.
